I'm lying on my back looking with my eyes forward
Looking towards the future trying to sort the unsorted
When the clash the crash the sound of consciousness colliding
Brings me back to my back where, as I lay I'm dying
And I'm lying in a world trying to put me in my place
But the look on my face says "I won't participate in that race"
Because it's not about race or class or politics
It's about living in a world that don't want us

Let's forget ourselves
Live for someone else
There may still be time
Somewhere down the line

Because when you look to future you only see the past
Because the only things that last never happen to fast
And at the speed that we've been living we've been lucky to be given
This opportunity for redemption, a chance to be forgiven
For the crimes we've been committing against the planet Earth
If a planet is a mother, she's refusing to nurse
Now as we face place, this space, we face our fate
If Life's a race, we're standing in last place

There may still be time
Somewhere down the line
Where else could we go
This Place Is Our Home
